CODE ENFORCEMENT -- Basic Quality of Life

Do you have specific Code issues that you would like to see dealt with that we haven't discussed? Thanks for any thoughts.

Its because people are slobs. Code enf is better these days but I would crack down even harder.

What would be your order of concern for Code Enforcement? My biggest concern has always been trash/junk. They have done a great job with this with very limited resources. A related pet peeve of mine is trash left out in from of the houses overflowing for days before pick-up. Why?

From time to to time, the issue of property maintenance comes up. There is often a lack of information in these discussions about the relevant codes that enforce reasonable property upkeep. In my experience, Code Enforcement does a fantastic and needed job of reasonable and even-handed code enforcement. It is not "out of control" like some HOA one hears about. On the contrary, it is just reasonable standards properly and fairly enforced for the comfort of all. Here is the ordinance that permits the work of Code Enforcement. In any "vacation" area where properties can sit, it is an especially needed thing:
