Congratulations to the City of Hardy for getting grants to expand the Public Library to include a children's wing. Here is the Advertisement for Bids:

Sealed bids from licensed contractors for construction of a 1,200 square foot addition to
the existing library. The addition is a wood framed structure with an elevated concrete
slab and interior partitions of wood stud framing. The project shall be constructed at
#120 Church Street in Hardy, Arkansas, and sealed bids will be received by Mayor Nina
Thornton at the Hardy City Hall, P.O. Box 5, Hardy, AR 72542 (124 Woodland Hills
Road) until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011, and then at said location publicly
opened and read aloud.
The scope of work consists of construction of a 1,200 square foot addition to the
existing building, housing the children's library & computer center. Instruction to Bidders,
Rural Development & ACEDP requirements, Bid and Contract Forms, Plans,
Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined and obtained on March
2, 2011, for $175.00 cost/per set at Jonesboro Blueprint and Supply Co., 222 S.
Madison Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401 (870) 932-4349, Toll Free (800) 433-1047, and
Fax: (870) 933-7145. Plans may be viewed at Jonesboro Blueprint and Supply Co.,
Jonesboro, AR 72401. Upon return of undamaged documents, the Contractor shall be
refunded $75.00. No partial sets will be issued.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 60 days after the date of bid opening and
must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with
State law.
