Hi springri,

Have you seen the footage of Spring River Chronicle? Excellent stuff from Jody once more.

Hi Mike,

Thank you greatly for all of the detailed information and video that you have provided. Along with the flooding issues locally goes the horrible tornados. Here is a link of the States and locations these tornados have touched down:

I have seen normal spring floods but in 2008 and this year they have been much larger. Why who knows I bet Al Gore has an answer but it will cost you to get it. lol.

FLOODING -- THE LONG VIEW Empty FLOODING -- THE LONG VIEW

Post by Paul2CV Wed Apr 27, 2011 4:01 pm

Hi Forum,

While this flooding is fresh in our minds, does anyone out there have a "long view" on this topic. Has this kind of flooding been a part of life here for years and years? Or has it gotten worse? Is there a problem from errosoin on the banks that has made it worse? It's hard to imagine to me that Hardy originally built on a flood area. Anyone have the long view?
