Flooding of Cherokee Village Lakes?

The dams and spillways water goes over them all the time. That is why the falls at the park at town center get raging sometimes. Is that what you mean? Every lake has one. For example, Chanute, that one is close to the road and is dry when normal levels and when tons of rain then the lake overflows into and spills over. That's what they are designed to do and is normal. But the lakes do rise if the water exiting can't keep up with what's coming in. I think that's what you are talking about.
