That would be so great if someone could send pictures.  I am at this point looking into rental properties for my January 2012 visit.
My property location is:
Absaroka Addition Block 2 Lot 19.
It is on the Omaha Lake,  Pahuska Circle and San-lldefonso Drive.

Hi Patti,

Welcome to Cherokee Village and to the Forum. The very best thing to do with respect to Contractors is to contact City Hall. They have an "approved" list. The contractor landscape is always changing. You can get some feedback here as well as from Planning and Zoning.

The most important thing is to visit. You might find existing homes that are cheaper and even more desirable than building, but you may also have your own special plans. Either way, a visit is the first order of business.

With respect to your specific lot, there is a member of this Forum who might well be able to swing by it and give you some photographs. Wait a little and see if he responds. All the best and welcome.

I have about 10 years until I can retire, but I would like to start preparing my property and getting a house built.
