Hi trout,
I agree that would make sense. What about the fishing relative to other counties? I'd say that was a good part of it.

Hi Forum,
According to the SRC's State Watch, Week In Review, Fulton County is one of the most frequently visited counties in Arkansas by tourists.
Why do you think that is?

Spring River Chronicle
So what does everyone think of The Spring River Chronicle ?
http://myspringriver.com/
I love it. Very well done and the VJ better wake up a bit and see what is happening right under their noses?
Per their "What makes us different?" page, Jody Shackelford says,
Newspapers are dying. The younger crowd does not read newspapers. They don't watch the evening news on tv. They get their news on digg. http://digg.com/ and other online sources. They never have black ink on their fingertips. They use their smartphones for all of their news requirements.
In an industry going downhill very fast, Here's The Spring River Chronicle, a little player in little Sharp County Arkansas giving it a go. I hope they succeed.

Per their "What makes us different?" page, Jody Shackelford says,
“It is our belief that people should enjoy reading the newspaper as
much as they enjoy going online. There is no doubt that the newspaper
has to ride side saddle with digital media, but we can help it stay
side by side and not kicked off the back.
