Arkansas AP exam Improvement Number One in the Nation

Arkansas is number one in the country in AP exam improvement. This is an interesting story about how Arkansas has dramatically improved its student's scores in advanced placement tests.

Arkansas was ranked first in the nation for the most number of students with improved scores in math, science and English as well as for the most number of minority-group students with improved test results.

"This is a proud day for Arkansas and a sign that more of our students are getting an excellent, and not just an adequate, education," Gov. Mike Beebe said.

Nobody disputes that there is always room for more improvement in the Arkansas school system, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

Congratulations to all involved.
