Arkansas’s General Election
REGISTRATION: To participate in this election, citizens must have submitted an Arkansas Voter Registration Application by the October 4, 2010 deadline. The application
is available in both English http://www.sos.arkansas.gov/elections/elections_pdfs/voter/voter_reg_ap_ar.pdf and Spanish http://www.sos.arkansas.gov/elections/elections_pdfs/voter/voter_reg_ap_ar_spanish.pdf . The original application must be submitted to your county clerk or the Secretary of State in person or by mail. Registered voters who have recently moved to a different county must transfer their voter registration by October 29, 2010.
Even if you are already a registered voter, it is important to keep your voter registration information current. Verify your information using Voter View available at
www.votenaturally.org. If you see anything that needs to be updated, please contact your county clerk immediately. Click here for a listing of contact information for county clerks.
ABSENTEE VOTING: If you know you will be unavoidably absent from the polls on the November 2, 2010 Election Day, you may request an absentee ballot from your county
clerk. Voters must mail back their ballot by Election Day.
