Hello there:

Part of my backyard that was heavily wooded was recently mostly cleared of trees to enjoy a lakeview. It's a little rocky but grass has grown over it in the summer time. rather than have to cut a bigger lawn over rocks, I would like someone to haul in some gravel so i can add an area for some chairs and a firepit and then may be do some plant beds/shrubs around the borders--ornamental grass, stuff that will add color and take the heat because i dont live there full-time and there's no irrigation system. Thanks. basically i need somebody who has a little bit of knowledge of trees and plants and who can do the work A to Z. Mammoth Spring nursery said they can do it but i hate to be locked in to buying from one supplier

Hi Conventional,

I hope that you get some response here. You can see some properties that you like and ask the owners. It really is amazing what some folks have been able to do combining low maintenance landscape with some great beauty. There are some very good examples around Lake Omaha.

I was wondering if anyone knows a good landscaper who has an eye for design for a non-resident property owners place. i have a lot of space to fill in but will never be there to water. I envision a lot of ornamental grasses, gravel, and knock-out rosebushes and such.
