Hi Forum,

Just to report back, by the time all gift buying was over I would say 75 percent of my shopping was done online. I don't feel good about that as stores employ people in a way Amazon never will. How about you?

Hi Villagers,

I'm really curious how folks plan to handle their Christmas shopping this year. To what extent do you shop online? To what extent do you use local stores? To what extent do you leave the area to shop? I'm percentage-wise.

I personally am feeling a little guilty about the extent to which I am shopping online. I wonder the impact of that behavior on retail jobs. Still, i do enjoy a walk through a store to see my eye caught by things i hadn't considered. How about you?
