Hi forum,

I got to thinking the other day that the initial clearing to make the golf courses must have been a major undertaking. Think about it. Not only did trees, shrubs, and massive rocks need removal, but then things needed to be made level, holes filled, stuff carted away... . This was a huge undertaking. My only thought was whether they started with farm land. Anyway, does anyone know the history?

I've often wondered how they keep those pesky chiggers off the Golf courses. Does anyone know what why are treating the grass with?
