New Executive Director For Main Street Hardy

I wish them well. Hardy has shot themselves in the foot time and time again in terms of their image, and it's a shame they fight like little children among themselves. Truly embarrassing. Again, I wish them well and hope they can step up to the plate and show how welcoming they are to visitors. Hardy has much to offer but their public infighting and vocal locals telling potential visitors they are not wanted is something that Hardy must address. The civil war is over the last time I checked, and if they want to continue that worn out, ridiculous, meaningless attitude, they will continue to fall farther and farther down the gutter no matter how many new people they bring in to try and fix it. The truth hurts. Deal with it, Hardy. I'm serious and I don't think you have a choice or your town will be in big trouble when your tourism falls even farther. Meanwhile, to all the visitors, let it be known you are very welcome in Cherokee Village!

Spring River Chronicle reports that Main Street Hardy as selected a new Executive Director. We wish him the very best. It will be good for him to read this Forum for some of the thoughtful comments on what Main Street needs to best come together for the sake of Hardy and the whole area.
