What Is SID?

Hi Forum,
I think that a lot of folks are curious about this form of local government called SID. It stand for Suburban Improvement District. In Cherokee Village, it interacts with a regular form of City government. So, there is both the SID and the City of Cherokee Village. At one time, the SID existed without a corresponding City structure, but eventually the City was voted in. Here is the SID website. SID mostly takes care of facilities/amenities.
