Trout fishing in the Spring River is good year round. Try Lasiters or Mammoth State park at the point where the Warm Fork River meets the Spring. Good fishing and have fun.

Is New year's Eve weekend too late to take advantage of the trout spawning activity on the Spring? I heard Nov and Dec are great but dont wait until after January 1. and i wonder if it will trails off after a certain date.

Hi Forum,

For awhile I have been trying to figure out what the stocking system is in Arkansas. I know that Cherokee Village and the surrounding area is "on the stocking map" so to speak. Finally found it! Here is a link to details:
