Mr. Lowe, I had a planned day with friends and family. I was up at about 5:30 and soon after we had a down poor. My first thought was how much you and others had planned for this day. Within a half hour the sky had cleared and we all were treated to a wonderful fourth. What a great night we had at Thunder on Thunderbird. Thank You Mr. Lowe
and all supporters of this event. I agree Paul, A special recognition needs to
go the the excellent way our local police helped all have a good and

How early do you need to get to T-Bird Lake to really secure a spot to watch? It seems a lot of folks go to the Lakeview's parking lot. Any idea what the expected crowd total might be?

The festival part is going great but we need more donations for the fireworks. I've done a mail out to about 450 folks and businesses in the area, also had a full two page ad in The Villager. The mail outs have been out over a week and the response has been slow, I'm hoping people are waiting till the last minute to donate. Thanks for all of the links. It seems like a lot more is going on this time with food vendors and things for the kids. Great! I'm sure the hot dog eating contest will make for some good youtube videos. I just hope someone gets nice footage of the fireworks too.
