Re: WALMART --OIL CHANGE
i never take my cars to any large chain, period. mostly you have dopes working on your car, especially oil changes. i know two people who've ended up with blown engines getting oil changed at two major chains in recent years. one may or may not be this company this thread is about
both times the idiots did not tighten correctly. one was oil filter and one was drain plug. a few hundred miles later and bamm, no oil, and a ceased engine by an unaware customer. one was resolved and person made whole again, one was not. take a guess what company would not admit fault and told the person to go blow? guess who has more lawyers at their disposal? just another reason why i try and stay out of that chain as much as possible. not by cup of mart if you get my drift.

Re: WALMART --OIL CHANGE
I'm with you on the checking. I haven't gone to this Walmart's oil change because I've had such bad luck elsewhere with underfills and other issues. For a long time, I did do tires at Walmart because they had a lifetime free rotation policy. I don't think that they do that anymore.

I check my oil after each change no matter who does it. Now days I don't trust anyone except the man in the mirror.

WALMART --OIL CHANGE
Hi Forum,
How would you rate the oil change at the local WalMart?
