Dead issue. They pulled and left but don't know all the details. It's over for Parlago as far as I know. Maybe if another national real estate frenzy happens again like it did back then, then maybe they will start up again, I don't know. I don't even know if they still own anything here anymore or if they just walked away. It would be interesting to find out what really happened.

Hi Forum,

Does anyone know what REALLY happened with the whole Parlago debacle? As I recall, they basically wanted to create a kind of parallel universe within CV. They even once wanted to be able to advertise a Village rename like "Parlago Lakes" or something like that. I know near Omaha they laid a house foundation that they had to take down because it just stood there undeveloped and I believe they purchased some local homes to resell under the Parlago Concept. Did anyone ever actually buy into this concept from the outside? What finally went down on this one?
