I agree the excuse of spending money on a shelter is just that, an excuse. There are plenty of places to use as a shelter. Call it what it is, a farmer's market, but a shelter can be found elsewhere at little or no cost. Omaha and Tbird?

Paul town center would have been the place or close to it. Also would have saved $87k. As to shelters Thunder or Omaha each could be used as shelter with bathrooms, cooking and plenty of parking and inside space.
I hope the FM makes it but thinking back to the one on the highway it has been opened and closed by different owners thru the years. I love fresh produce and will pay for it but it I guess most locals grow their own which would make it hard on a FM to make money.

Hi Forum,
I think that the Farmer's Market is a good way to get focus on Town Center. What i would like to see is a comprehensive plan that takes advantage of this sumer presence. It's great to be able to get fresh vegetables and meet locals. It gets us out of the WalMart dreary back and forth. What we want to do is piggyback on this seasonal happening with other Town Center activities and get some stores opened down there! An overall sense of vitality is key to the perception of the Village.
