EARLY VOTING
Hi Forum,
There's a local news story below about "Early Voting" for the National election. I've used absentee ballots before because I had to, but never "early voting." Do you feel at all worried about the practice with all the sudden surprises that come up?
Early Voting Underway for Nov. 6 Election

Early voting for the Nov. 6 election began on Monday, Oct. 22 at County Courthouses across the state, and will continue through election eve.
County Clerk's offices are in charge of early voting. Offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Early voting hours on Nov. 5, election eve, will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those who vote early need a form of identification, like a drivers license or voter registration card.
People can also still request to vote by absentee ballot. Oct. 30 is the last date to request an absentee ballot application by mail.
Absentee ballots can also be obtained by filling out an application in person at a County Clerk's office.
To see a sample ballot for your voting precinct, you can go to Voter View, an online voter information service operated by the Arkansas Secretary of State's office. The address is: www. voterview.org.
Sample ballots are also available at County Clerk's offices.
Voters who plan to vote on election day are asked to notify the County Clerk's office, before the election, if they have had a change of address since they last voted.
