Forum,

We always look at the the world from a perspective. There's a lot of spin out there today about "Labor" pro and con. You get, on the one hand, "organized labor was the only thing that forced a middle class into being from indifferent and often callous, exploitive employers and created genuine worker safety for the first time" to "labor unions brought us down and are communism in disguise."

Rarely, however, do we actually look at the economy from the perspective of labor -- I mean the perspective of a real worker in today's economy or one currently unemployed. I thought it might be worthwhile to collect personal stories today. What is your personal view from where you actually find yourself -- not theory, or talk-show jargon, but actual experience, fears, hopes?
