Sharp County Police Cars Striped By Donations
Hi Forum,
From the Village Journal:
Businesses make donation for police car striping
Sunday, September 18, 2011
Tammy Curtis, Staff Writer
Members of the business community rallied together recently to purchase
stripes for three of the Sharp County Sheriff's Department's new patrol
cars.
Sheriff Mark Counts said he is very thankful to the businesses for
helping support their county with the contributions. The stipes were
completed by Signs by Rick in Highland.
Donating to the cause was First Arkansas Bail Bonds, Jeremy and Pamela
Rowland, Guard Dog Security: Chip and Amy Kietzmann; Comfort Services,
Incorporated, Wayne Compton; Kevin and Holly Kinney: Highland Computer
and Jay Burgess, Ace Auto Sales.
The crisp green and yellow logos will make the vehicles stand out for
both recognition and safety purposes. Some of the business owners
challenge other businesses in the area to step forward and help with
community aid fundraising project such as the this one in the future.
