I agree. The Japanese will be living with these effects for years to come --birth defects, etc. As for our Government being honest about the levels of exposure and health risks, if past behavior dictates present behavior, no, we cannot believe what we hear. The first goal is to avoid "panic." That's why so many got sick after 9/11 while the government was assuring the clean up crews that air quality was fine.

The Japanese and us will be living with the effects of this disaster for years to come. Do you trust the U.S. Government to tell us the actual amount of radiation we're exposed to?
