Hi Forum,

I understand that E Faye Jones did a Walmart estate and am trying to find a link. Still can't find it. But this house came up in my search and it's amazing. Take a look: http://www.northwest-arkansas-real-estate-4-sale.com/prims/ARMLS_PrimsDetail.asp?mlsid=629992&agent=30&type=residential

Hi Forum,

There was talk a little while ago about on E. Faye Jones house up for sale near one of the golf courses. This is a stunning example of his work and the detail. Check out the pictures:

Hi trout,

What was the color before? Was it like T-Bird Center?

By the way, there's a E. Faye Jones on a bluff that's off the chart. I think it is still for sale. Wish I could recall the street.

Paul when the city changed the color of city hall to that puk color we have now they altered the look of town center. This was also a design by Mr. Jones. They should return the color back to match all the other structures.

Springr & Mike,

I'm glad that the link is interesting to you. It has a great photo of the house that you both like and several more. Design matters. The quality of life that comes from a beautiful and truly gifted design from the likes of E. Faye Jones goes well beyond square footage. You should see his townhouses. In fact, there was one up for sale a short while ago - -amazing. But there are several homes in the Village that he designed.

As for being "real estate crazy", I know what springr is saying It's kind of a bug you get!

E. FAYE JONES Empty Thanks for the article

Thanks for the article on E. Fay Jones. His structures and homes are beautiful and simple--you really tell he followed in the footsteps of his teacher Frank Lloyd Wright. Page 16 of your attachment shows the little 900 sq foot house on the CV North Golf Course. I think that thing listed for $139k recently--twice as much as a comparable house of that size would list for.

Hi Forum,

As a matter of "Village Pride" we can remind oursleves that we are in posssession of a number of E. Faye Jones buildings. We have also a treasure in them that we need to preserve. If anyone is not acquainted with the significance of E,. Faye Jones' work, the following link from the Arkansas Preservation Society will give you some appreciation.

Also, under this topic section there is another link with photos. Enjoy.
