Entitlements??? Empty Entitlements???

Hi Forum,

Entitlements? The other day I got one of those Social Security statements in the mail that show your contributions through the years and perspective benefits at retirement. Of course, it is even more enlightening to look at your actual pay stub and see what's being taken out and remember how long that's been happening. For me, all my working life.

Now what makes my blood boil is to hear what I have paid into for years at great personal cost being referred to as an "entitlement." Like heck it is! I've had deductions my whole life!

How do you feel? Let's not buy the Social Security "entitlement" hype. It's a flat out lie. We earned it.
