MEMORIAL DAY Empty MEMORIAL DAY

Post by Paul2CV Sun May 29, 2011 10:35 pm

Hi Forum,

I was talking with some folks the other day who felt that Memorial Day can easily become a "long weekend" and lose its true purpose and power. The fact that we can have a nice long weekend is certainly the fruit of the sacrifices of many. We rightly remember the military at this time and those brave souls who gave their lives. We can also rightly remember all those in uniform of any kind who serve and protect at home. Thank you to our Guardians.
